Honmirin is a very mild sake used for cooking in Japan. The rice alcohol gives a sweetness and a lightness to the dishes by inhibiting the smells of the meat and the fish. It also prevents food from breakind down while cooking and facilitates the penetration of sauces by enhancing the flavors.

This honmirin is a sake obtained according to the traditional manufacturing method based on the use of sticky rice produced in Japan. It is characterized by a soft sweetness, a thick smell and a beautiful vermilion color resulting from the aging of a period of 2 months.

Mirin with an alcohol content between 13.5 and 14.5 degrees is a product subject to the 20% alcohol tax.

Ingredients: Mochi rice (produced in Japan), koji rice (rice produced in Japan), sugar, stirred alcohol.
