This pure white mug is made of a refine Japanese porcelain. The clover motif holes are hand-carved before filing them with transparent clay. Heated at high temperature, the clay shows a stunning clarity like rock crystal. This technique is called rock crystal carving" and is performed by meticulous craftsmen. When green tea is poured inside, the bright freshness of spring greenery is reflected through the clover. With ojicha or English tea, you will appreciate the sweet brown color of autumn leaves."
