Set of 4 mini plates in the shape of precious stones made in Japanese porcelain.
Founded in 2005 in Mishimi city in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan, Floyd was born from a group of designers who had set for objective to “relay emotions, create the surprise and give smiles to people”. Since then, Floyd has been developing items with unique and stylish designs coming from the encounter of contemporary designers and traditional craftsmanship.
Beautiful jewellery-shaped tiny plates made of softly varnished porcelain. The technique used is called crystal enamel" in order to reproduce the transparency of elegant precious stones. These jewels of Arita were born by hazard in a pottery workshop in the city of Arita, well known for its know-how in porcelain in Japan, in an oven of 200 years of history. This collection reveals the appeal for a new era of porcelain.
