Hangiri - sushi rice bowl with lid
Sushi rice cooking wooden bowl called hangiri or oke to cool and season the rice in.
Made of Japanese cypress, it gives a beautiful sweet wooden flavor to your rice for an authentic Japanese sushi tasting.
You can also use it as rice presentation plate on your table for a temaki sushi dinner ^-'/
Place the hot rice in the bowl right after cooking. Ventilate the sticky rice with a wooden spoon and a fan.
Pour your ready-made sushi vinegar or your own preparation on the rice and mix with your wooden spoon. Keep on ventilating. Once well mixed, cover the hangiri with its cover to keep your rice hot.
Should always be washed by hand with hot water without the use of any soap. Wait that the wood dries naturally before storage.
